Collection: Oinaru Tamashi Collection

Oinaru” is an ancient Japanese word, whose meaning is “immense” and "Tamashi " is “soul or spirit”. Together – the Great Spirit.

This collection arises from one of the best known legends of the feudal Japanese culture. It is the best know symbol of the Geishas and is directly related to the soul. It is a symbol of change and positive transformation.

Legend says, that people can project their souls into the beautiful butterflies while they sleep, and with the reincarnation they can fly freely to heaven. Japanese people believe, that butterflies have the ability to travel between the world of the living and the dead. So dead never truly leave and stay to take care of their family and the most important ones.
